EdLite courseware is a web-based, php e-education package. It is free and licensed under GPL: Gnu General Public License. It offers individual teachers, teacher groups and students a very low maintenance web based classroom for online education and or training. It can easily installed on modest hardware and yet give stable, scalable service.

EdLite is designed with p2pware environments in mind. It offers business, schools, tutors and trainers the advantage of being able to use the superior quality of p2p voice and video and yet maintain a stable, private online environment for their product. It enables the use of a broad range of p2p tools and the selection of just those tools specific to the need of your educational or training setting.

It is a web based student-teacher filesystem which provides secure, private online storage in an otherwise peer to peer learning environment. It is an ideal tool to use as an adjunct for synchronous or asyncronous online tutoring, small group instruction, or short term larger group demonstration or lecture.
